She finds Bed Tyme Tales Storyland and decides to make that her new home. kept flying because she knew she had no other choice. There was water and more water. She knew she would be in a lot of danger if she landed into the water.

“Finally,” said Beatrice, seeing something up ahead. “That doesn’t look like land but I don’t care. I am going to check it out.”

Beatrice flew closer to the object. She couldn’t believe it. There was a ship in the ocean.

“I will be able to land on the ship,” thought Beatrice. “That way, I will be able to rest my wings.”

Beatrice flew onto the ship. She landed on the ship’s railing.

“A bee!” someone shouted with a rolled up newspaper in his hand.

The man swatted at Beatrice. He missed because Beatrice moved out of the way. However, Beatrice landed in a barrel.

“Oh dear,” said Beatrice, crawling out of the barrel. “I thank that was a barrel of rum. It is funny though. My wings hardly hurt at all now.”

Beatrice flew around the ship. She noticed a man and he was dressed up as a pirate.

“Get me some rum,” ordered the man.

Pirate PetePirate PetePirate Pete has his own pirate ship. His crewmates are Slappy and Rusty. He likes to drink rum. His mother dumps his rum overboard whenever she finds it.,” said another man. “A bee landed in the barrel.”

“This is a pirate ship,” thought Beatrice Bee to herself. “I better find a place to hide.”

Beatrice Bee saw a shelf above the barrel. She flew up to the shelf and hid in the corner of it.

“What on Earth is a bee doing out here in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean,” said Pirate Pete. “I can’t afford the crew or myself to get stung by a bee. “Slappy, I want you and Rusty to get that bee and get it quick.”

“Yes sir,” said Slappy.

Slappy went to find his co-worker, Rusty. He told Rusty about the bee.

“Pirate Pete wants us to find the bee,” said Slappy when he found Rusty in the kitchen.

“What is a bee doing on a Pirate ship?” asked Rusty.

“I don’t know,” said Slappy. “He must have been on the ship the whole time.”

“I think we would have noticed it,” said Rusty.

“Possibly,” said Slappy.

Slappy spotted Beatrice in the hallway at the stairs. He took the folded up newspaper and swatted at Beatrice. Beatrice was a little tipsy from the rum but she did manage to jump out of the way from the newspaper that was being swatted at her.

“Please don’t worry,” said Beatrice. “I am not going to hurt you.”

“You won’t sting me?” asked Slappy.

“No,” said Beatrice. “I won’t. I promise.”

“I am happy to hear that,” said Slappy.

“So, what are you doing on a pirate ship in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean?” asked Rusty.

“Well,” said Beatrice. “I got lost in the ocean and I just wanted a place to rest my wings.”

“You can rest your wings for as long as you want,” said Slappy. “However, just stay away from the barrels of rum.”

“Yes,” said Beatrice. “I will do that for sure.”

Beatrice became good friends with Slappy and Rusty. They hid her from Pirate Pete. Once the ship landed on solid land, Beatrice got off the ship and was off to another adventure.
